Review:
We saw it tonight with about 30 friends at a pre-release research in Atlanta. Let me say that I am a 50-year-old movie buff. Sci Fi is my favorite genre, but I've seen most of the classic science fiction. I did not know what to expect as I have not always science fiction comedy fan. For example, although a bit of fun, was not crazy about hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. I was crazy about some of the cast members, but not really the film.So, arrived and the theater was packed. They were turning people away at the door. Although I have no scruples, and was not sure Id like, it turns out, I loved it! ALL members of the audience seemed to laugh at themselves to hysteria over a large part of the film. And the whole audience cheered wildly in the end! WARNING: This movie is not for the pious religious or those who are offended by insults and sexual references. Period. If you think you might be offended by anti-religious humor, swearing or sexual references, then do not go. And I recomendaríaa it only older teens, not young teens.Amazingly, during the first 20 minutes Maso least I got to thinking this is a treat! If only I could keep this fun for the rest of the film ..... many comedies begin with a explosióny then is tired due to the end of the film ..... But I could not be more wrong. Not only maintained an amazing rate, but introduced many great people along the way.If enjoyed Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, this shall be your alley. There were a lot of sci fi movie references (Alien, ET, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Wars, Aliens, Predator, etc.) cast was amazing, wonderful character development, and a terrible sequence command that went from sweet and touching, that hilarious, to fear and back. It was really fun! It is cruel, it will certainly be offensive to some Christians of America, and is completely science fiction, but it is absolutely hilarious. So lovers of sci-fi comedy, GO! Run to the theater to see on the big screen. Make friends and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
